Paella Guys joins Bite of Burnaby 2026 with a series of Paella Masterclasses led by Chef Javier Blanc. This experience is designed to bring people together around paella as it is meant to be enjoyed: shared, generous, and rooted in tradition. It is a chance to learn, celebrate the spirit of Bite of Burnaby, and enjoy a terrific time in good company.

Guided by Chef Javier Blanc, winner of the second best paella in the world at the Concurs Internacional de Paella Valenciana de Sueca, this hands on masterclass explores both Seafood Paella and traditional Valenciana Paella. Guests will cook alongside the chef, enjoy Spanish tapas during the class, and learn the fundamentals behind timing, technique, and ingredients. The experience also includes an introduction to the art of making sangria.
